A two-story venue catering to sporting events and arcade machines has opened in Historic Downtown Bryan. Final Score Sports Bar & Arcade said it hopes to be a hub for sports fans in Bryan.
The overview
Both floors focus on separate interests, with sports and pool on the first floor and arcade games on the second. Along with sports and an arcade, Final Score will also hold events, watch parties and 18+ hours.
Owner Dustin Batson told Community Impact he had the concept in his back pocket and wanted to move out of the nightclub business, as a former partial owner of Vice Downtown Bryan nightclub.
Taking the place of what used to be Vice Downtown Bryan and Citrus & Salt, this will be the only "barcade" in the city of Bryan. According to Final Score’s website, the business plans to be the “anchor for Aggie football, NFL, UFC, college football, and group watch nights in Downtown Bryan."

Batson also told Community Impact that Final Score will be having a few days of soft openings “to get used to the area and customers.” However, the official opening is set to take place in early September. Along with the arcade will be 11 big-screen televisions, darts and foosball to accommodate guests with all different tastes and likes.
