The Westheimer Road entrance ramp onto Loop 610 will shut down at 9 p.m. Friday until further notice, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
The closure could take several months, according to previous reports, while crews drill a new foundation for future ramp support columns. Traffic will be rerouted to Post Oak Boulevard under I-69 toward the next on-ramp for Loop 610.

The southbound frontage road at Hidalgo Street will also be closed starting at 9 p.m. Friday until further notice.
