The Miller Outdoor Theatre is kicking off its 2026 season with a grand opening of the Ting Tsung and Wei Fong Chao Foundation Plaza on June 20, a new gateway to the theater designed to enhance accessibility, expand gathering spaces and create a stronger connection to Hermann Park.
About the project
The project was first announced to the public in late 2025 and involves creating a new official entrance for the outdoor theater. Per prior reporting, an additional part of the plaza will also feature three large sculptural structures that resemble birds to create shaded areas.
The celebration will also mark the debut of Miller World, an immersive cultural activation that involves a series of interactive sculptures and experiences throughout the venue, according to a June 9 news release.
