Payless ShoeSource at 2950 S. Gulf Freeway, League City, and 1805 W. Bay Area Blvd., Webster, will close this spring following the company’s decision to close all North American stores. Payless announced mid-February it would file for bankruptcy and close all stores in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada. Liquidation sales are expected to continue through the end of May.
