HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake will host its annual celebration of life event Feb. 13 to celebrate patients who underwent open-heart surgeries.
This year, the hospital will also celebrate a milestone of conducting more than 500 open-heart surgeries, according to a Jan. 14 news release from the hospital.
The details
The final number of completed open-heart surgeries for 2025 was 517, surpassing the 2024 final of 455.
The event will take place at noon Feb. 13 at The Heart Hospital at HCA Houston Clear Lake, located at 495 W. Medical Center Blvd., Webster.
Also of note
The Heart Hospital includes a six-story tower, cardiac catheterization labs, a cardiovascular intensive care unit, dialysis unit, pharmacy and three operating rooms with technology not available anywhere else in the South Houston region, according to the release.
