Harris County Clerk Teneshia Hudspeth said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Nov. 4 there were errors in the county's daily record of early voting totals at two vote centers due to an inadvertent shifting in the cells of the spreadsheet used to track totals. However, county officials said as of the morning of Nov. 5 those errors have been corrected.
Rosio Torres-Segura, the administrator for communications for the Harris County Clerk's office, said in an email Nov. 5, "The error referenced in yesterday's statement has already been corrected. You can view the updated Early Voting Unofficial Report on our website. This will not affect the timing of results released tonight."
