Smokin J’s Homemade Burgers & BBQ had its soft opening in June in Texas City and is planning a grand opening celebration at a later date, staff said.

The restaurant serves signature and gourmet burgers and wings, as well as BBQ, such as brisket, pulled pork, Boudin, ribs and sausage, according to the restaurant's menu.
