More than two years after closing on a lease for the building, Axiom Space is planning a $1.2 million renovation project on the old Fry’s Electronics Building in Webster.

The project will be renovation and alteration of the building at 21300 Gulf Freeway, Webster, according to filings Nov. 13 from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The timeline calls for work to begin in January and wrap up later in the year in August, according to the filings.
How we got here
Axiom Space originally closed on a lease agreement for the site in 2022, Community Impact reported. At the time, officials with League City said the space could support up to 400 employees.
