A cold front will bring relief to the triple-digits temps that Central Texas has been experiencing.[/caption]
From Fox 7 Weather Chief Meteorologist Scott Fisher:

After a hot early portion of the week, things will cool down a bit as we near Friday and the weekend.
Along with the cooling trend will come at least modest rain chances for a few days. Another cold front is heading our way, and while we are only talking about a couple of degrees you will notice the cool off and additional clouds with showers.
The cold front will likely stall nearby, which is typical for this time of the season, and that may trigger more scattered showers that could linger though the weekend. Please always remember: Turn Around, Don't Drown!
