Temperatures are expected to be 7-10 degrees above normal for another week.[/caption]
From Fox 7 Weather Chief Meteorologist Scott Fisher:
Central Texas has been mighty toasty the last few days with temps averaging 7-10 degrees above normal the past week, and that trend looks to continue through the weekend.
Highs will top out between 97 and 102 degrees throughout the weekend with only a slim chance of showers late Sunday. As the high pressure system overhead weakens, temperatures will likely get back to normal next week.
Please keep in mind that this is severe weather season. Many thunderstorms may produce not only heavy rain but also high winds, hail and possibly a tornado. Stay weather aware!
