Travis County Judge Democratic candidates Andy Brown and Sarah Eckhardt will discuss issues relevant to Southwest Travis County residents at a Circle C Area Democrats forum Jan. 13.

The event is open to the public, CCAD member Ed Scruggs said. Members developed questions focused on transportation, emergency services and public safety, health care, the environment and affordability. There will also be an open-topic question-and-answer session for attendees, Scruggs said.

The Circle C Area Democrats forum is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Escarpment Village location of Santa Rita Tex-Mex Cantina, 5900 W. Slaughter Lane.

Scruggs said those wishing to eat dinner should place their orders by 6:30 p.m. More information is available at www.circlecareademocrats.org.

Primary elections are scheduled for March 4, and early voting begins Feb. 18.

The Oak Hill Association of Neighborhoods also plans to hold a forum Feb. 12 at 7 p.m. at the ACC Pinnacle Campus, 7748 W. Hwy. 290, OHAN president Jim Schissler said.
