Take your Dog to Work Day: After Pawty

Bring your dog to work and the bring them for happy hour at Cane Rosso. The restaurant is teaming up with Tito’s Handmade Vodka for a special happy hour to celebrate Take Your Dog to Work Day. Tito's cocktails will be on special for $5 and all pizzas named after one of the owner's dogs will be $10. There is no cost to attend.

Keep Austin Weird Fest and 5K

Featuring live music, a costume contest and a race, the festival celebrates Austin’s eclectic culture. The event also features vendor booths. A dollar from every ticket sale supports the Central Texas Food Bank. $11 (kids 5K and festival pass), $25 (adult 5K and festival pass).

Siblings Class

Birth and Beyond at St. David’s Health Care is hosting a class for children ages 3-10 that will help them begin the process of becoming an older sister or brother. One parent is required to attend, but both parents are welcome. The class is filled on a first register and pay basis. $15.

St. Elmo brewing St. Elmo Brewing Company is hosting a luau party on Sunday in honor on National Pineapple Day on June 27.[/caption]

In celebration of National Pineapple Day on June 27 and the summer season, St. Elmo has brewed a tropical pineapple-infused pale ale called Mahalo. The Luau, which takes place on Sunday, will launch the official release of this new brew. Sour Sop, one of Austin’s favorite Pan-Asian fusion food trucks will help host the party. Hawaiian-inspired food specials, prizes and live music from local surf rock band The Avocados are also included. Free.

Rocky Rocks the Runway The benefit fashion show will begin at 4 p.m. at the Hotel Van Zandt on Sunday. All proceeds benefits the FLC International Children's Foundation.[/caption]

Rocky Rocks the Runway

The benefit fashion show will feature international fashion designer, Rocky Gathercole. Gathercole has designed for Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. In addition to Gathercole, the show will also feature four Austin designers, a marketplace of Austin's favorite lifestyle businesses, live entertainment by The Brew and a special guest appearance by 2016 Miss Universe Guatemala, Virginia Argueta.Proceeds will benefit Austin-based nonprofit, FLC International Children’s Foundation. $25-$100.

Michaels Craft Store Grand Opening

Michaels Craft Store, a craft and home décor retailer, will host a grand opening party for its new store. The store formerly located at 5400 Brodie Lane, Ste. 350, Sunset Valley will relocate across the street to 5114 Brodie Lane. The public is welcome to attend the grand opening. The store will open at 10 a.m. for all shoppers.
