The city of Austin is hosting the second round of open house meetings to gain feedback on preliminary plans for Slaughter Lane, William Cannon Drive, and Brodie Lane corridors as part of the 2016 Mobility Bond Program.

Earlier this year, the community provided input on what mobility improvements they wanted to see along the thoroughfares.

Voters approved the city’s $720 million mobility bond last November. Of that amount, $482 million will go toward improvements along nine corridors, including Airport Boulevard, Burnet Road, Lamar Boulevard, E. Riverside Drive, Guadalupe Street, Slaughter Lane, Brodie Lane and William Cannon Drive.

Improvements could include intersection upgrades, sidewalk additions and curb ramps, bicycle lanes, and streetscape upgrades.

Upcoming events:

Wednesday, Nov. 1: 4:30-7:30 p.m., Williams Elementary School gymnasium, 500 Mairo St., Austin

Thursday, Nov. 2: 4:30-7:30 p.m., Hampton Branch at Oak Hill Library, 5125 Convict Hill Road, Austin

There are also opportunities online to learn about and provide feedback on the development of the plans. City staff has launched new corridor-specific webpages:
