Learn more about the city's draft land development code, CodeNEXT, at one of the last open house events. Code writers will be on site to explain what a land development code is, why the city underwent the CodeNEXT process and what the major improvements are in the new code. Free.

Learn to paint a bluebonnet dish with your fingers at this Art Garage Austin's family painting class. Participants can choose to paint on an assortment of plates and platters. A $20 reservation fee goes toward the cost of a plate.

RAW Artists Austin: Cusp
This one-night festival showcases the work of 50 artists whose art spans the spectrum of music, hair, makeup, fashion, performance art, photography, visual art and accessories. Tickets are $22 online or $30 at the door. Admission is for guests 18 and older.

Double Feature Farm Tour at F-Stop Farm and Joe's Organics
Slow Food Austin will host this tandem farm tour starting with F-Stop Farm and continuing at Joe's Organics. Participants will learn about cultivating an urban garden and will be sent home with a box of the F- Stop Farm's seasonal offerings. At 2:45 p.m., the tour will progress to Joe's Organics where visitors will learn about turning composting into a business. A selection of seasonal micro-greens will be given to each guest. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased here.
