Graphic design students from Bowie High School completed an art project at Baylor Scott & White Clinic - Austin Circle C in April.

According to a news release from the clinic, the art students created murals for the clinic’s pediatrics room. The group collaborated with staff, pitched ideas and worked to design art that would make young patients feel inspired and encouraged.

“For our students, knowing that children will enjoy the pediatric room when they may be feeling under the weather inspired them,” said Judith Cooper, the class’ instructor. “Getting feedback and encouraging support from staff has also helped build confidence in their abilities. Students can see that their art and hard work has made a difference.”
