Phase one of the development process for the Nutty Brown Business Park is complete, according to Ron McGuire, owner, developer and builder of McGuire Custom Homes. Four of the seven buildings are fully constructed, he said, and two tenants have signed leases.

Spouses Chris and Denise Bodman of CrossFit 737, an official affiliate of the trademarked workout regimen, are in the process of relocating from their current location at 275 Nutty Brown Road and will open for business in the new development on April 3, Bodman said.

Another space has been leased for a personal woodworking shop, McGuire said. Five spaces and more than 30,000 square footage remain to be leased and each space has the potential to be split between five businesses. Total tenant allowance for the development is 18 tenants.

McGuire said he is in negotiations with a custom chandelier business and a professional development service to occupy two of the remaining spaces.

Once all of the building shells have been leased, McGuire said tenants will have the option to alter the space according to their needs.

"I'm working with each tenant who comes through on tenant improvement," he said.

The business park, located south of Hwy. 290 at 12707 Nutty Brown Road, Austin, is slated for completion by early August.
