Work officially wrapped up in mid-August on Westcreek Drive sidewalks near Patton Elementary School in Southwest Austin.

The city of Austin’s Public Works Department sponsored the project to add new and updated sidewalks and curb ramps on the east side of Westcreek Drive from the Patton campus to West Hwy. 290.

The $96,000 project began July 18 and was completed Aug. 16. Funding for the project came from the city of Austin Quarter Cent Fund, the use of which City Council approved to support low-cost projects that would help with congestion relief and other issues.
