Capital Metro opened a new Pinnacle Park & Ride at Austin Community College's Pinnacle Campus June 1. Located at 7748 W. Hwy. 290, Austin, the bus access point sits alongside 90 parking spots, including four Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant spots. Park & Rides allow motorists to leave their cars and access public transit.

The new Park & Ride replaces the former location in the Oak Hill area, which was moved to the ACC campus due to space conflicts with TxDOT's planned Oak Hill Parkway Project, according to a press release from Capital Metro.

"This will make the commute that much easier for our neighbors and will really help connect them to transit," Austin City Council Member Ann Kitchen said at a virtual ribbon cutting.
