The exit ramp for William Cannon Drive on I-35 southbound was relocated in April, according to a May 8 update by the Texas Department of Transportation. The ramp in now just north of the previous, between William Cannon and Stassney Lane.

According to TxDOT, work continues on the shared-use pedestrian paths along the I-35 service roads between William Cannon and Stassney. Lane closures have taken place daily since May 7 on the I-35 northbound service road and on William Cannon eastbound since May 11. Daily closures will end at both locations after May 15.

The construction is part of a $78.8 million project that has reconstructed both the William Cannon and Stassney bridges over I-35 and improved ramps on and off I-35 over the past four years. The project is still on track to be finished this summer, according to TxDOT.
