Correction: The H-E-B will be opening June 10.

After a few delays this spring, H-E-B has set June 10 as the official opening date for its newest supermarket, located at 8801 S. Congress Ave., Austin, near Slaughter Lane.

According to a May 19 news release by H-E-B, the 130,000-square-foot store will offer H-E-B Curbside, home delivery service, a Texas Backyard outdoor section and a pharmacy.

A new restaurant, True Texas BBQ, will also offer food with indoor and outdoor seating and a drive-thru. Once open, True Texas BBQ plans to serve its first 150 meals to Central Texas Food Bank staff, according to the news release.
