South Austin-based Austin Real Estate Partners has launched an online company, ProtestingPropertyTaxes.com, which offers Travis County residents property tax protest assistance.

The service announced May 8 it would be offering free protest reports and providing instructions on how to file a protest for low-income homeowners whose home is valued at less than $150,000.

According to a news release from the company, the service also offers free appraisal assessments for all homeowners. Full reports for those who do not qualify for a free protest report can be purchased as well.

Austin Real Estate Partners, which is located at 12332 Cardinal Flower Drive, Austin, was founded by Bob and Melinda McKenna.
