The renovations include new office space for staffers, more energy-efficient infrastructure and upgraded technology. City offices are still open and all employees are still reachable.
The goal of the project aims to accommodate residents as the city experiences new growth. Back in June, the Building Department and the Planning and Development Department moved out of City Hall to their own office due to limited space, as previously reported by Community Impact.
City meetings will continue in alternate locations. Meetings for City Council and the Planning and Zoning commission will be held at Dripping Springs ISD Center for Learning and Leadership, 300 Sportsplex Drive, Dripping Springs, until renovations are completed.
Other city meetings will be held at Dripping Springs ISD Center for Learning and Leadership; Dripping Springs Ranch Park Event Center, 1042 Event Center Drive, Dripping Springs; or virtually.
