The Dripping Springs City Hall building located at 511 W. Mercer St., Dripping Springs, was sprayed with graffiti overnight, according to a statement released by the city March 10.
The graffiti included racist and offensive language and is being removed by the city, according to the statement. Hays County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
“We are deeply concerned about this vandalism,” Mayor Bill Foulds said in a statement. “The city council and our city employees have always supported all people of every culture, background, and race and we do not tolerate behavior that perpetuates hate against any individual or group."
