Austin City Limits Music Festival

Austin’s annual music festival will return to Zilker Metropolitan Park for two weekends in October. This year’s festival headliners include Chris Stapleton, Blink-182, Dua Lipa and Tyler the Creator.

Dripping Springs Songwriter Festival

The Dripping Springs Songwriter Festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary this October. The event will take place across various venues in downtown Dripping Springs and showcase over 30 songwriters and singers from across Texas and the U.S. The event will begin with the Headliners Showcase Concert, a ticketed event that will also have a live auction.Roots & Wings Festival

The annual Roots & Wings Festival is a series of family-friendly educational events spanning two weeks focusing on trees, plants, fungi, soil health, pollinators, birds, bats and more. Daisy Dash

The Austin Runners Club 47th annual Daisy Dash will have a 5K, 10K and a mile run for kids. The route will take runners on a loop through Sunset Valley. All events will start and end at Daisy Dash Field located on Ernest Robles Way across the street from Petco.Halloween Children’s Concert

The Austin Symphony Orchestra will host its annual Halloween Children’s Concert at the Long Center’s Dell Hall. The event will begin with kid-friendly Halloween activities on the H-E-B Terrace. This year’s concert will feature “The Composer is Dead,” a musical murder mystery where every orchestra member is a suspect. Attendees are encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes as there will be a contest with prizes.Viva La Vida Festival and Parade

The Mexi-Arte Mueseum’s annual Día de los Muertos celebration will take place downtown with music, a parade, food and more. The event will begin with the Viva la Vida Parade at noon.
