New principals for Dripping Springs Elementary and Cypress Springs Elementary schools were announced by Dripping Springs ISD officials July 11.

Two-minute impact

Kellie Raymond will serve as the new Dripping Springs Elementary principal for the 2024-25 school year.

Raymond was the first principal at Cypress Springs Elementary and served at the school for three years. She’ll return to Dripping Springs Elementary as principal for the second time. Raymond previously served as assistant principal at Walnut Springs Elementary and as a teacher at both Dripping Springs Elementary and Rooster Springs Elementary.

“Mrs. Raymond’s unparalleled professional experience and deep commitment to the DSISD community make her an exceptional choice to lead our largest elementary campus, and I am thrilled that she has chosen to return to [Dripping Springs Elementary],” DSISD Superintendent Holly Morris-Kuentz said in a news release.

Amber Daige will serve as the next Cypress Springs Elementary principal.

Daige has worked in the district for almost 15 years and most recently served as assistant principal at Walnut Springs Elementary.

“Mrs. Daige is a talented campus leader, and a gifted communicator and community builder, and I look forward to having her serve DSISD as one of our campus principals,” Morris-Kuentz said.
