Two-minute impact
The building, called the Center for Learning and Leadership, opened in June 2023, and is home to the district’s administrative offices and Child Development Center at 300 Sportsplex Drive, Dripping Springs.
Previously, these had been located across from Dripping Springs City Hall at 510 W. Mercer St., Dripping Springs, since 2000.
Multiple artifacts and photos are featured in the building, including items donated by DSISD alumni.
The building most recently was home to Walnut Springs Elementary, but a bond program approved by voters in 2018 constructed a new campus for the elementary school and moved administration and the child development center into the building.
