The Dripping Springs ISD board of trustees approved a 3% pay increase for teachers, auxiliary staff, clerical and technical staff, and administrative staff on May 22 during a regular meeting.

What’s next: The pay increase will take effect on July 1. The 3% general pay increase comes as an effort to retain staff in the district, said Linda Hall, DSISD chief human resources officer.

In June, the board of trustees will be presented a compensation package that may include pay outside of the general 3% increase for specific roles in the district, Superintendent Holly Morris-Kuentz said.

Also of note: On May 18, Austin ISD officials approved a compensation package that will provide a 7% raise for teachers and pay increase for staff in AISD.
