Due to inclement winter weather in the Hill Country and Austin metro, Dripping Springs ISD has canceled all after-school programs and meetings on Monday, Jan. 30. Students in after-school care programs will be picked up from school as soon as possible.

In anticipation of freezing rain and icy conditions, school has been canceled for Tuesday, Jan. 31. District offices will be closed.

By 4 p.m. Tuesday, DSISD officials will make a decision regarding Wednesday classes after the district coordinates with Hays County Emergency Management.

According to the National Weather Service, ice may accumulate on elevated services and roads in the Hill Country and Austin.
