Playa Bowls now open in Dripping Springs

Customers lined up to try acai, pitaya and coconut bowls as well as smoothies, cold brew and juices from Playa Bowls at the grand opening June 15 in Dripping Springs. (Elle Bent/Community Impact)

Dripping Springs residents can now enjoy acai bowls, smoothies, juices and coffee at Playa Bowls in Ledgestone.

Owners Marc Pollard and sons Jordyn and Jake celebrated with a grand opening June 15, and the first 50 customers received a free bowl and a t-shirt.

Bowls can be customized or ordered from a variety of speciality menu items, such as the Nutella bowl or pura vida bowl.

Marc Pollard also opened another Playa Bowls in Southwest Austin this year, located in Lantana Place at 7415 Southwest Parkway, Austin. The eatery was founded in New Jersey and now has over 200 locations across the country.
