Camp Lucy, located at 3509 Creek Road, Dripping Springs, announced July 6 that a new executive pastry chef will begin at on-site restaurant Tillie's alongside Executive Chef Andy Knudson.

Hannah Smith, the former owner of Gemini Bakehouse in Los Angeles, will join Tillie's to oversee operations for the pastry program. Smith closed Gemini Bakehouse to relocate to Texas, according to a news release by Camp Lucy.

Smith will develop an offering of seasonal pastries and various baked goods for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Options Smith will bring to Tillie's will include a 12-layer Texas Honey Cake, buttermilk biscuits, strawberry shortcakes and pies.

“I’m ecstatic for this new adventure in Texas and to bring my baking techniques to Camp Lucy,” Smith said in a news release. “I’m looking forward to charming my new Dripping Springs neighbors the best way I know how – through their bellies!”
