Owners Paula Samford Walker and Ryan Palmer offer handmade, fried-to-order dessert doughnuts, along with specialty savory sandwiches. Some of the doughnuts include the Flying Pig, which has housemade maple icing and grilled bacon for $8.90; the Fat Elvis, which has housemade peanut butter icing, freshly grilled bananas, grilled bacon and honey for $8.90; and the Naughty and Nice, which has cinnamon sugar and a side of honey butter for $7.75.
Gourdough's has a sister location at 1503 S. First St., Austin, where they have been in business for 14 years, Walker said.
