Austin Public Health reported 145 new coronavirus cases in Travis County for July 20, dipping from the daily 500-case plateau of a week prior. The daily moving average for new COVID-19 cases in Travis County is 335.1.

The Austin metropolitan area also saw 43 new coronavirus hospital admissions July 20, significantly lower than the daily moving average of 65.8 admissions. Overall, 476 COVID-19 patients are currently hospitalized.

Six new coronavirus-related deaths were also confirmed by Austin Public Health.
