Dripping Springs has formed a committee to create a new disaster-relief program that will aid local businesses that have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

According to information from the city, the committee will be composed of city staff members and Susan Kimball, Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce president.

The committee will evaluate relief options to provide relief to city businesses and will present a proposal to create a COVID-19 Disaster Relief Program of Businesses to Dripping Springs City Council on June 9.
