Thirty new coronavirus cases April 22 brought the Travis County case total up to 1,263, and the county saw its 28th death related to the coronavirus.

Local health officials have also confirmed that at least 344 individuals have recovered from the pandemic, representing 27.2% of those previously infected.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has affected all local businesses, and many prominent companies have announced permanent closures in the Austin metro this April.
