Owned by Denise James, Pure Dance Austin is opening its permanent location in Southwest Austin.

Community members can check out the business’s offerings which include ballet training with age-appropriate choreography, music and costuming.

The business launched on Aug. 1 at its temporary location at the Southwest YMCA studio spaces.

James is a classically-trained professional dancer who has participated in national ballet and commercial programs in Los Angeles and New York City.

Her background includes her time as a Golden Girl and the captain and choreographer at Louisiana State University.
