The Little Gym of Dripping Springs

The gymnastic training center opened its Dripping Springs location off of US 290 in September. The business is now offering classes for children aged 4 months to 12 years old. Parents can also join classes for children up to 3 years old. The Washington-based gym is one of three locations in the Austin area. The Little Gym can also be found in Round Rock and Cedar Park.North Hays County Emergency Services District No. 1

North Hays County Emergency Medical Services is now operating out of a new building in Dripping Springs near the Belterra shopping center. The emergency services district serves the northeast side of the county, which includes Dripping Springs, Driftwood and Henly.Gardien Wine Storage


Owners Eric and Kris LaBrie celebrated the opening of their new wine storage facility with a Dripping Springs Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting. Gardien Wine Storage offers climate-controlled wine storage and a lounge space to host parties and events.Coming soon

Lucky Lab Coffee Co.

The local coffee shop from Courtney Hutton will open its first location outside of downtown Austin this fall in Dripping Springs. The business serves coffee from Austin-based roaster Third Coast Coffee with housemade syrups, creams and sauces. Lucky Lab will replace a Rolling in Thyme and Dough location, which closed in August. Other Lucky Lab locations can be found at The University of Texas and in the West Campus neighborhood.In the news

Treaty Oak Distilling


John Paul DeJoria, founder of Patrón Tequila and Paul Mitchell hair care, bought Waterloo Gin in September. The gin, locally made by Treaty Oak Distilling, is the first Texas-based gin brand and will be sold nationwide starting next year. The recipe will not change, but the brand will have new packaging. Waterloo Gin is still available to buy online and at liquor stores in Austin and surrounding areas.Dripping Springs City Hall

Renovations at City Hall are underway and are expected to continue for six months. The building temporarily closed in early October to begin the project. The renovations include new office space for staffers, more energy-efficient infrastructure and upgraded technology. City offices are still open and all employees are still reachable.
