A new math learning and tutoring center will open in the Southpark Meadows shopping center later this summer.

Mathnasium offers customized math learning plans for children in grades first through 12th. Tutors can also help with test preparation, homework and early childhood math development.

Aileen Yu, owner and director of the new location, emphasized the effectiveness of Mathnasium’s teaching method in a news release.

“Our goal is simple: to teach math in a way that makes sense to kids,” Yu said in the release. “Mathnasium centers across the country have helped struggling students develop into ‘A’ students and ‘A’ students go on to even greater achievements. We are thrilled to be able to bring our ‘Mathnasium Method’ to support the families of Southpark Meadows.”

Mathnasium is a global franchise with several locations across the Austin and San Antonio metros.
