Construction on the new store began in November. According to owner Jason Reis, a soft opening is planned for later this month, and a grand opening is slated for this summer.
Reis, who is a resident of South Austin, said the Cupprimo menu will remain the same as the North Austin location.
Cupprimo sells cupcakes in a variety of flavors, such as red velvet, blue velvet, primo vanilla and more. The cupcake shop also sells custom regular, gluten-free and vegan cakes as well as drinks, including coffee and smoothies.
