Jester King Brewery, located at 13187 Fitzhugh Road in Southwest Austin, plans to reopen May 29 following a period of closure due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to a press release. The opening follows Gov. Greg Abbott's orders that allowed bars and breweries to reopen at 25% capacity last week.
Jester King will vary its services and options with the reopening, opting to use its 165 acres as socially-distanced space for park and picnic activities. Visitors will be able to make reservations for six different areas of the property, called The Vineyard, The Beer Garden, The Pasture, The Hop Yard, The Canopy and The Goat Pen. The brewery is also opening a new trail network to guests.
Reservation windows will be available Thursday-Sunday, and takeout availability will continue throughout the week. For onsite visitors, face masks will be required when not eating or drinking.
