Car enthusiasts will soon have the opportunity to shelter their vehicles on the Circuit of the Americas campus, while also receiving extra benefits compared to the average COTA visitors.

In a nutshell

On July 6, COTA and T-11 representatives announced the groundbreaking for the expansion project was underway after years in the making. Those interested can check availability of the car condos and submit an inquiry for more information.

A closer look

A mock-up walkthrough car condo is expected to be finished and available to those interested in the fall of 2023, COTA officials said in a news release July 6. The condos will be designed for either cars or motorcycles and will provide owners with customized interiors specifically made to house those vehicles utilizing a two-level design with floor plans ranging between 1,500-6,000 square feet. Additionally, buyers will select from one of four available finishes. Those who purchase a condo will have access to a variety of perks including a clubhouse and pool, private race-viewing platform, event lawn and discounts on COTA races and events, according to the brochure.

Quote of note

“We’re excited to begin the next phase of Circuit of The Americas, as it continues to evolve into the ultimate sports and entertainment destination,” said Brad Epstein, vice president of T-11. “Having these car and cycle condos next to the only permanent, purpose-built F1 track in the nation as well as an amusement park, karting track, amphitheater and campground is such a unique opportunity. It offers a chance for passionate enthusiasts to enjoy their community, while also providing additional attractions and activities for kids, family and friends.”
