The train, which reopened earlier this year, currently runs daily from 10 a.m.-5p.m. and will now be offering evening rides from 6-9:30 p.m. for $6 a person.
The train's hours are subject to change based on weather and other conditions. Any closures will be posted on Zilker Eagle's social media accounts.
Getting there
To ride the train during the installation of Austin's Trail of Lights, visitors can check the Trail of Lights website for information regarding parking, shuttle and ride share options.
There are a limited number of available parking spaces each night and require a pre-paid parking pass. Parking is prohibited in surrounding neighborhoods.

The train is wheelchair accessible.
Every third Wednesday of the month rides are free to the community from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., excluding school or day care groups.
