Both calendars were developed by the district’s Calendar Task Force. The task force includes 30 members from various positions across the district, such as campus staff, parents, central office departments and other district leadership.
The committee created five different versions of the calendars and reviewed and approved two to present to a district advisory council for feedback and voting. The task force then landed on two proposed calendars, one for 2025-26 and one for 2026-27, which were then presented to the board of trustees for approval.
The board voted to approve both calendars Dec. 19, 2024.
