Now open underneath The Bouldin, a mixed-used development off South Lamar Boulevard, the new Paperboy has larger kitchen and includes indoor seating for 52, a covered patio for 65 and a walk-up window for to-go orders.
The menu will feature staples from Paperboy's first location, still open at 1203 E. 11th St., Austin, such as the Texas Hash, B.E.C. Sandwich and Paperboy Pancake in addition to housemade pastries, coffee and cocktails. Due to the larger kitchen, the team may offer new dishes at the South Lamar location in the future, according to a news release.
The background
Paperboy opened its first brick-and-mortar location in East Austin in July 2020, replacing the original food truck.
The team behind the restaurant, Daybreak Hospitality, also recently opened their newest concept, Loudmouth, in East Austin in late 2024.
