The Belfast-based Neighbourhood Café has launched in Austin next to its partner bar The Dead Rabbit.

The cafe is now serving standard coffee and tea drinks alongside specialties like the Iced Tiramisu and Freddo Cappuccino. The menu also includes pastries from Sarah McIntosh’s Épicerie, all-day breakfast, and several lunch items.

Cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks developed in partnership with The Dead Rabbit team will also be served.

The brunch cafe and coffee spot first opened its doors in 2021. Co-owners Oisin McEvoy and Ryan Crown said they aim celebrate Irish heritage and art, reflected in the establishment's menu and decor.

"The initial reception to the café has been so encouraging and we are looking forward to fully bedding into our new home, becoming a staple of the Austin hospitality scene, and bringing a little bit of Belfast to the people of Texas," McEvoy said in a statement.

The cafe is open from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. daily.
