Lil’ Easy

A new Cajun restaurant called Lil’ Easy Fine Cajun Food & Bar will pop up in East Austin in February. The restaurant, owned by 2 Dine 4 Hospitality, will serve hot boiled crawfish with corn, potatoes and andouille sausage, mini cochon de lait po'boys, Cajun meat pies, jambalaya and hushpuppies.

Dead Rabbit

The New York City bar awarded "World’s Best Bar" by Tales of the Cocktail in 2016 is making its way to downtown Austin in early 2024. The Dead Rabbit has a menu just for Irish cocktails, several of them coffee-based, and a menu with cocktails that contain spirits and flavors from around the globe. Dead Rabbit also offers Irish grub, such as its Guinness-braised rib sliders, bangers and mash, and lamb stew.Hattie B’s

The Nashville-owned and -operated hot chicken restaurant Hattie B’s will open its first Austin location in South Austin. Hattie B’s will serve its hot chicken alone or in sandwich form, and sides that include bacon cheddar grits, Southern greens and crinkle-cut fries. To drink, Hattie B’s will offer craft beer, alcoholic slushies and cocktails on tap.The Grove Kitchen & Wine Bar


The Grove Kitchen & Wine Bar will add its fifth locale to the Austin area in early 2024. The bar will offer a curated selection of wines available by the glass, as a flight or by the bottle. Wine offerings will include everything from sparkling to white, red to blends and more.

The food menu will focus on using organic, local produce with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.The Statesman

The Statesman, a new American restaurant that aims to function as a supper club—a restaurant that doubles as a sophisticated social club—will open doors in downtown Austin in early 2024. The restaurant will serve elevated American classics, including seafood towers, Caesar salads, hasselback potatoes, and pimento mac and cheese. The drink menu includes classic cocktails with a twist, such as the old fashioned made with tequila and a sprinkle of cinnamon, a margarita with a touch of ghost pepper, and an “upgraded” paper plane.
