Now Open

1. Henry’s

A new all day cafe and bar is now open on historic estate Green Pastures, as part of the debut of The Inn at Green Pastures. Henry’s provides coffee service, snacks, meals and cocktails.

2. The Inn at Green Pastures


Green Pastures, a historic estate in the Bouldin Creek neighborhood, has expanded its offerings with the debut of The Inn at Green Pastures, a 63-room boutique hotel built to preserve the site’s iconic live oaks.

3. Kitsu Nori

Chef Paul Qui’s latest concept Kitsu Nori offers a Japanese handroll and sushi experience. The menu features crispy nori, warm rice, dry-aged fish, premium shellfish and farm-fresh vegetables.

4. Oak Haven Massage

The business launched its third Austin-area location which features relaxation, deep tissue, therapeutic and lymphatic drainage massages.

5. Ceremony Spa

Ceremony Spa is toasting to 15 years of community and business in the South Austin area. The business is owned by Asenath Avinash and offers a community atmosphere for spa services. Customers can find a range of offerings from massage and acupuncture to sauna, cold plunges and full body scrubs.

6. Cosmic South


Cosmic’s south Austin location has undergone renovations including an expanded covered patio, a double-sized deck, a new traditional seated bar, upgraded bathrooms, an added walk-up service window, newly enhanced landscaping and a reimagined chicken coop and green spaces.

7. The Golden Goose

The bar celebrated 10 years of business in December. The space features a jukebox, shuffleboard and live entertainment to pair with signature cocktails.

8. Home Slice


In celebration of the company’s 20th anniversary in November, the pizzeria hosted its Carnival 'O Pizza at its South Congress location—the first one since 2016, according to a news release. Judge Andy Brown kicked off the event by proclaiming the day as Home Slice Pizza Day.

Relocations

9. Eggman ATX

Owned by Rich Tavetian, the business relocated its truck from its current location at 1311 S. First St., Austin to 1720 Barton Springs Road, Austin in December. The new location is part of The Picnic Food Truck Park.

10. Limbo Jewelry & Triple Z Threadz


After over 20 years of business on South Congress Avenue, the two businesses are looking for a new space to relocate. The stores plan to close at the end of the year and will continue to sell merchandise online until a new location is secured.
