Bodega and bar Handsome Dan's is coming soon to East Austin's Springdale neighborhood.

Founded by Josh Hare, also behind brewery Hops and Grain, Handsome Dan's will offer ciders, wine, THC-infused drinks and beers on tap, including nonalcoholic beer. Guests will also be able to take to-go items including sandwiches made with Easy Tiger bread.

Handsome Dans’ grand opening celebration is taking place the weekend of Feb. 7.

“In developing the Handsome Dan’s concept, I wanted to build a familiar and approachable neighborhood hub that embodies the persona of your high school football coach—the standup guy who was humble and kind and everyone in school either wanted to be like him or had a crush on him,” Hare said in a news release. “That awesome character who was always there when you needed them, so there’s something here for everyone. Just have a good time, grab and go or sit down and chill. Maybe make a friend or two along the way.”
