Local movie enthusiast group Hyperreal Film Club launched a new theater location in East Austin this summer.
Hyperreal has hosted film screenings around town for 8 years and also maintains an online film journal with a variety of movie-related content. The new physical theater space on Chicon Street now screens films throughout the week—including local shorts and international offerings—and will also host community meet-ups and theater rentals.
