Locally owned and -operated restaurant Cover 3 Anderson Lane will offer a fundraising event Oct. 18, and celebrate its 15th anniversary Nov. 11.

The gist

Cover 3 Anderson Lane was opened at 2700 W. Anderson Lane, Ste. 202, Austin, in November 2008 by locals Matthew Dodson and Doug Young. Since then, they have made it their mission to give back. Dodson and Young chose nonprofit Partnerships for Children—which supports children and families involved with Child Protective Services—as their target for year-round fundraising events.

The details

In its 14th year, Par-Tee for PFC will happen Oct. 18 from 6-8 p.m. at Cover 3 Anderson Lane, where guests who are age 21 and older are invited to sip cocktails and taste small bites while mingling and shopping the silent auction.


The $25 entry price includes drink tickets and complimentary appetizers. All proceeds will go directly to PFC. Other events by Cover 3 Anderson Lane throughout the year that directly benefit PFC include the Invitational Golf Classic; the Golf Cart Raffle; and Golf, Fun & Friends for PFC.

The anniversary celebration takes place Nov. 11 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Anderson Lane location, when officials will offer drink specials, a raffle, alcohol tastings, face painting and cornhole.

What's on the menu?

The scratch kitchen offers its take on American bar cuisine with menu options such as the brick chicken macaroni and cheese, which features macaroni and cheese with Italian spices, chicken and pancetta; and the half-pound, freshly ground chophouse burger with longhorn cheddar and applewood smoked bacon. Signature dishes, chef specials, adult beverages, weekend brunches and more are also available.
