On Aug. 28, southbound I-35 will be reduced to one lane at Posey Road in order to prepare for a traffic shift onto a new overpass on Saturday morning. Drivers should use the Centerpoint Road exit to access Posey Road and York Creek Road between 9 p.m.-5 a.m.
Construction on the final portion of the overpass will commence once traffic has been shifted and will last through the project's scheduled completion in late 2021.
On Aug. 29, the right-hand lanes of northbound and southbound I-35 will be closed between Centerpoint Road and York Creek Road from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. to complete work on several entrance and exit ramps.
Ramps to be completed include the I-35 entrance ramp south of Posey Road, the Centerpoint Road exit ramp and the southbound I-35 Posey Road exit ramp.
